Double chocolate banana oat pancakes with caramelized banana slices, natural maple syrup, & chocolate chips

Looking for a way to spice up your oats? You should make these double chocolate banana bread oatmeal pancakes! This recipe is so simple and guarantees a plate of fluffy, chocolatey oat pancakes every time you make them.
These pancakes provide you with the fiber, healthy carbs, protein to full you throughout the day! (And a great low-cal high-volume meal)
♡ Recipe ♡
Ingredients
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 egg white
1 tbs cocoa
1/4 cup almond milk
1/2 of a medium ripe banana
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
Directions
In a blender combine all ingredients listed above. Blend until smooth.
Cook the batter in a greased pan at medium low heat. (On my stovetop it was the level 3.5 heat). Cook the pancakes on both sides.
This recipe made 4 thick pancakes.
In the same greased pan add banana slices coated in cinnamon. Sauté them until they become gold and mushy. Sprinkle a little granulated sugar and let the banana slices sauté a few more seconds.
Add the caramelized banana slices to your pancakes and enjoy!
